Strategy Session FAQ
Who can book a Strategy Session?
Strategy Sessions are for makers who want strategic support and direction in their craft business. I’m all about helping you build a business that supports your values, allows you to make work you’re proud of, and is sustainable personally and financially. You don’t need to have already started your craft business to book a Strategy Session, but you do need to be actively working towards it.
What’s your business background?
Glad you asked! I have eight years of experience as a marketing professional (working mostly with early stage startups in both the craft and financial technology sector), a graduate certificate in financial planning, and I currently write financial education resources for some of Canada’s biggest tech startups. You can read more about my background here and check out my personal website here.
What can you help me with?
We’ll focus our attention on one main business block which will be uncovered through your intake form. Perhaps you’re trying to increase online sales, switch up your products and offerings to increase revenue, or you’re struggling with overwhelm and wondering what you should be focusing on. By drilling down to your underlying strategy we’ll find actionable steps forward. We can’t know for sure what will work, but we can make an informed guess that honours your current bandwidth and minimizes your risk.
Can you give me financial advice?
While I’m happy to talk money all day long (both how to make it and what to do with it), I no longer hold any certifications in financial planning so I can’t give you specific advice. What I can do is be a confidential sounding board, work through bigger picture financial strategy, and offer cash flow management frameworks that might help.
